At The Winning Side suite we invited two inspirational women leaders, Dr. Ghina Halabi and Peju Adebajo, to have a constructive dialogue on supporting and uplifting female talent.

Peju Adebajo is CEO Lumos Nigeria and awarded CNBS Africa Business Women of the year (2015). She is the former Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture for Ogun state Government. In 2013 she was awarded Harvard Business School Nigeria Leadership award.
Dr. Ghina Halabi is an astrophysicist and leads EnterpriseWOMEN at Cambridge University. She is the founder of 'She Speaks Science' and mentor for United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs.

A very inspiring discussion indeed. My favourite take away point was how we need to normalise WFH - Work from Home- and we will be amazed at how many talented women can contribute tremendously, in a way that suits their lifestyle & their aspirations. We need to encourage women to grow personally and professionally at their own pace, because this isn’t a race. However, women should never lose their personal agency - no matter what the circumstances. Thanks, Sara, for a great podcast.

This was such an inspiring conversation, I loved how Peju and Dr Ghina talked about diversity being just not limited to gender, and more about cognitive abilities and neuro diversity. Totally agree on what they said about changing the system and engaging men in these conversations rather than just blaming them. One more thing I really liked was how they talked about success being different for everyone. Thank you Sara for this beautiful and uplifting conversation with such wonderful women.
